what HCG Diet Plan is all about

Been looking for a body reshaping program for quite sometime now. i have been asking the slimming centers nearby but the package of using multiple machines comes up to close RM5,000. it takes over a period of three months of twice weekly to complete the sessions.
i have doubts about keeping to the routine.
then, suddently i came across a brochure of a colleque who was on an Atkin Diet because her pressure has shot up to an extreme danger level. it says that u could loose between 0.5 - 2 kg per day by committing to a HCG Dieting Program.
so i googled and found out that HCG is:

"Restricting your intake to 500 calories a day isn't healthy," says Pieter Cohen, an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. The other part of the diet is daily drops or injections of the pregnancy hormone hCG, which supposedly accelerates weight loss by suppressing appetite and "blasting" fat.
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone produced by the embryo following implantation

What is the hCG Diet then?

The hCG diet consists of three stages. The hCG Diet stages are:
  • Loading — 2 days of eating fatty, carb-filled foods.
  • Burning — 26 to 43 days of a 500-calorie diet, depending on your goal.
  • Maintenance — 3 weeks of a starch/sugar-free diet.
hCG Lose Weight
The loading stage requires that you begin taking the hCG and load with foods that are high in carbohydrates and fats. This is done so that your body will begin to adapt to the effects of the hCG.
In the burning stage you begin the VLCD (very-low calorie diet, this diet is outlined in the hCG Meal Plan section) while continuing with the drops or injection.
The maintenance stage requires that you not eat any sugar or starches for 3 weeks.

take a look at me now

Have you ever waken up one day in the morning and viewed yourself in a looking mirror and suddenly wondered who that person looking right back at you was?
OMG, The sight was sooooo very disgusting. that was definitely not me. i looked much better that that, really!
Just look at that figure, it was like something not right at the hormones development department, that could have caused primarily not by genes, but endocrine disorders, medications, or mental and bodily illness.
Having said that, you climbed back to bed trying to resume sleep but  alas! you knew you have only two choices: dream on and view yourself having a figure as 20 years ago, still, or wake up and do something about it. And real quick too!
When you are in a business of public or customer relations or lecturing, coaching or mentoring, it helps a lot if you have a total package, i guess you know what i mean. i just what to share my journey of committing into a dieting program which unbelievably works.
Well at least it works for me!

my first encounter with ICT - ikan celup tepung (tempura mackerel) - the best i have ever tasted.

GMie a lecturer friend who travelled with me on this assignment: pre-retirement workshop in kuala terengganu, took our chauffeur and I to a very special place for ICT called Pok Nong, upon arrival. the small stall is not too far from the airport.
the stall is actually at the edge of the airport facing the south china sea. it was about 4 in the afternoon when we arrived and already there were hardly any empty seats left.
i saw 5 big containers of mackerel, squid, prawns, fish sausage and mushroom all dipped into tempura flour and deep fried. the delicacies are taken with sweet sauce.
people were crowding the counter and almost fighting their way to the front to pick the best items/dishes.
the fish were fried crispy that you could eat all the side bones. the 8-inch squid was very juicy,  and the prawns were sweet and succulent. the fish sausages were crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. the mushrooms were crispy as well.
i had the time of my life, gorging those glorious food down my throat! feeling a little guilty because usually fish and sea foods were cook individually as main dishes and to be taken with plain white rice.
all it takes was few minutes! few minutes and our plates were already empty. the coconut water tasted heavenly especially in the hot and breezy weather. and suddenly i remembered what my late mum said, species that eat fish, squid and prawns without rice are  "cats".
i could not help it but felt as if we were a bunch of black-head cats that were glutton, walloping profusely the glorious ICTs'. meowwwww!
